Rules
All persons using the areas are to be licensed accordance with the state and federal law.
No Alcohol
No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the shooting area. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol, violating the rules of safe gun handling or good sportsmanship will be banned from the area.
Illinois Residence must have
- Current Illinois hunting license
- Firearms Owner Identification Card
Non-Resident
Hunter may purchase users permit for the preserve ONLY
Clothing
- We require a blaze orange hat , coat or vest
- Comfortable leather or rubber boots
Gun / Shells
- Hunter shoots best with his/her own gun
- Shells- 8 or 9 for quail
- Shells- 7 1/2 Chukars and Pheasants
